Rating by category:
We chose the hotel for it's location-close to all the sights.
The rooms were very small and we did not think it was value for the rate charged. Also, we were shocked that the hotel then wanted to charge for freshly squeezed orange juice when the rate advertised buffet breakfast included. There was no other juice offered.
The desk guys were very nice. The woman was extremely unfriendly. Pained her to help. The location was great. Hated the hotel!
Horrible experience! Could not wait to leave! All that can be said about this hotel - do not stay there - ever....The bed was the same as sleeping on the floor; the housekeeping and shower/sink area was disgusting; and the lack of privacy was horrible - heard every noise from the bathroom of the room next door.
A lovely boutique hotel with a superb location in Sultanahmet, 5-10 minutes walk to Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The hotel is stylishly decorated. Rooms are very cosy with modern facilities incl. Free wifi. (We stayed in a standard twin bedded room which is a small room but furnished with everything we needed.) A daily generous spread of breakfast with fresh fruits, breads, cheeses. Every staff member is always very helpful, courteous and available to provide information. They did make a difference and great assets to the hotel. Room rates may be a little on the high side for our room size, but worth a hassle-free stay. Overall, we were very happy with Hotel Ibrahim Pasha.
Standard Room size is a little too small for 2 people.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Ibrahim Pasha hotel, obviously I enjoyed my first stay.I find the hotel suited for me, the staff is wonderful, the hotel is comfortable and cozy and clean, the location is outstanding to all the major attractions and one can walk everywhere. As a woman by herself on business I felt perfectly comfortable walking around by myself even at night. I intend to stay at the Ibrahim Pasha Hotel again on my next stay in Istanbul an plan to stay at the hotel with my family in the future. D>F
The hotel location in Sultanahmed area is one of the best points. The hotel is very nice, clean and cozy. The staff is very polite and client-oriented.
The only thing we didn't like is the absence of hot dishes and coffee from the coffee machine for the breakfast. But you forget about it as soon as you go outdoors and enjoy local cuisine. :)
Great location, excellent staff, superior rooms are spacious and well designed, lovely bathroom, very nice place to stay
The standard rooms are very small. Would definitely recommend superior over standard
Elegant room decor style, central location to major tourist attractions.
Added services appear to be a bit over priced: i.e. laundry, airport pick-up
small rooms, however pleasant cosy atmosphere
Interior design: modern, warm, relaxing
The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, nice lon breakfast time (till 11) no huury.
Excellent and informed staff, planned our day based on their advice. Great location and sound proofed so you do not hear the morning call to prayer (not sure what the other reviewers are talking about but we did not get waken up once)
Our room was very very small but fairly well equipped.
The style of the hotel was very tasteful and interesting with a superb roof terrace and bar. The views of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus were stunning. The staff were discreet but extremely polite and helpful
Tasteful design great breakfast. seriously. it's that good. book selection - excellent library of all things Turkish. terrace view of the Blue Mosque location - 1 minute walk to the Hippodrome For a hotel within my budget, proabably the best value for money I've ever paid for.
Staff were wearing jeans and t-shirts, looked out of place against the backdrop of such a nicely designed hotel. A casual staff uniform would be more approppriate. airport transfer was overpriced and so I used an outside service instead. I would have happily use the hotel transfer service were it priced more competitively. It's not like I don't want to give them my money. they lost out on 80 euro for 4 transfers rather than earning 160 (asking price) due to their pricing policy.
Design, location, nice size hotel.
Breakfast need more variety (it was all vegetarian).
